Family Matters partners with families as they live in a fast-paced, demanding world that often presents difficulties and confusion. The founder, Amy Bekemeyer, MA, provides life coaching, tutoring, educational support, tools and resources to assist families as they navigate through the ordinary and extraordinary circumstances in life. Ms. Bekemeyer has extensive experience in counseling and served in various roles in education including a teacher, school administrator, and school counselor. She holds an educator certificate through the State of Florida Department of Education, is a member of the Florida Association of School Counselors, and a certified Life Coach. Ms. Bekemeyer has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master of Arts in Counseling.
